Lakewood Ranch is known for the miles of walking trails, dog parks, and playgrounds. Nearby the Woodlands of Lakewood Ranch are several parks to take your dog for a walk or schedule a play date

Bob Gardner Community Park:  2710 White Eagle Boulevard. This is one of the newest parks in Lakewood Ranch. The Bob Gardner Park is Lakewood Ranch’s first in a series of linear parks.  Future linear parks will link together for form wonderful walking and bike trails that will weave throughout Lakewood Ranch. The Bob Gardner Community Park is a 40-acre park and features the following:

• Playground with Jungle Gym
• Dog Park with plenty of activities for your best friend

• Multiple Purpose Sports Field

Also located nearby, the Premier Sports Campus is a large sports complex with over 20 FIFA-regulated soccer fields, perfect for anyone that has a passion for the sport and loves to compete!  The Premier Sports Campus is home to collegiate soccer games, lacrosse, and rugby.

There are three public schools that will serve the Woodlands at Lakewood Ranch, all located within minutes of the community.

McNeal Elementary School: 6325 Lorraine Road, Bradenton, FL 34202. Grades K-5. Grade A school.

R. Dan Nolan Middle School: 6615 Greenbrook Boulevard, Bradenton, FL 34202. Grades 6-8. Grade A school

Lakewood Ranch High School: 5500 Lakewood Ranch Boulevard, Bradenton, FL 34211. Grades 9-12, Grade A school.

Lakewood Ranch area is a highly sought after community because of the schools’ dedication to higher learning. Most of the schools that support the community in Lakewood Ranch are A rated.

Because the Woodlands is still in the planning phase of its development, there aren’t any specific details on the HOA fees for the neighborhood. However, much of the fees will vary depending on the size of the home. The fees will also include maintenance of the common areas in the neighborhood as well as the community facilities.
